Charlotte Senior Sports

The Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department serves as the coordination organization of the senior league. In this role, MCP&R provides playing fields, arranges for umpires, and oversees the day-to-day activities of the league. Charlotte Senior Sports assists with the administration effort including registration, team assignments, scheduling, and promotion.

Saturday Practices - Practice sessions are held on Saturday mornings when fields are available. Please check with team or league personnel to verify dates.

Spring League - April through mid-July.

Fall League - August through early November.

Softball 2010 - Spring League

Registration for the 2010 Spring League will begin on January 18. Click on the Player Profile Form to your right to sign up.

*** Spring Schedule ***

The Spring League will begin Thursday April 8 and continue for approximately 14 weeks. All games will be played on Thursday night at Park Road Park, 6220 Park Road, Charlotte, NC.

In addition to the Sassy Softball Sisters weekly league players age 55 and above may want to participate in the Mecklenburg County and North Carolina State Games. Organization for this event is in the Spring. Please note your interest when you complete the Player Profile Form.

Want To Play?

Registration for the 2010 Spring League is by individual. Women, age 45 and over, are eligible for play. Playing age is your age as of December 31, 2010. The fee for Spring League play is $40 per player. Fees are payable at the time of registration. Checks should be made payable to Sassy Softball Sisters and mailed to 3608 Garden Club Lane, Charlotte, NC 28210

All players wishing to participate in the Spring League should fill out the Player Profile Form.
